College advisory

Programme four

Guided to the right future

From the Middle School onward, every Hollow pupil has a dedicated adviser who knows their strengths, their ambitions and their worries. Together they choose subjects, shortlist universities, rehearse interviews and plan a life beyond the Hollow — whether that means Oxford, an art conservatoire or an apprenticeship.

Our advisers visit campuses on four continents each year, so their counsel is first-hand, current and honest about fit — not just prestige.

Questions, answered

Where do Hollow leavers go?

To leading universities at home and abroad, to conservatoires and art schools, and to degree apprenticeships — most to their first-choice destination.

When does advising begin?

Light-touch discovery from Year 8, subject-choice guidance in Year 9, and intensive application support in the final two years.

Do you support non-university routes?

Wholeheartedly — our futures fair and alumni network cover apprenticeships, gap years, sport and the creative industries.
