Pupil societies, staff teams and parent committees all run on meetings — and most meetings run too long. This practical morning workshop, led by our head of operations with guest facilitators from two partner colleges, teaches the Hollow method for meetings that start on time and end with decisions.
On the agenda
Agenda design, chairing difficult rooms, minute-taking that people actually read, and live practice: every attendee chairs a ten-minute meeting and receives kind, specific feedback. Society officers earn their facilitation badge for the year.
Who should attend
Society chairs and secretaries, house captains, new staff, and parent volunteers running clubs or committees. Breakfast is served from 8:00 am; the workshop begins promptly at 8:30 am.
Practical details
Free for all Hollow families and staff; guests from partner schools are warmly welcome. Reserve through the contact form, naming the workshop, by 4 September.
